"The Original"
Ben Nevis Sunrise Summer Solstice 2025
Put this in your diary, it’s an opportunity not to be missed.
Join us on "the original" organised event to watch the sunrise on the longest day from the summit of Ben Nevis, the UKs highest point.
We will be leaving the Visitors Centre at about 11.30pm on Friday 20th June and ascend the Pony Track (AKA Mountain Track) to reach the summit at approx. 4am (Sunrise is at 4.26am). The ascent isn't so bad as the banter and stories we have from Ben Nevis will keep you entertained.
We can make ourselves comfy and watch the sunrise over the Scottish Highlands, with The Ben's shadow cast over the local hills and beyond (Looking very similar to K2's shadow, but without the travel to Pakistan!).
If you are thinking of your first night walk or want to witness this event then why not do it in the safe hands of our experienced Mountain Leaders. We will supply Cake on the summit (might even be a drop of Scotch going round). We will descend via the Pony Track with all the views around in the morning sun, whilst watching "3 Peakers slogging there way up on their 24 hour Challenge"...
There will be plenty of guides coming along, so there will be the opportunity to travel in smaller groups of equal speeds...This will allow all of us to summit comfortably.
Looking forward to see you there...
Full details of times, kit list etc. will be emailed with your confirmation.
