Navigating in Full-On Winter conditions can sometimes feel very stressful

 This 2 Day Course aims to make you feel much more confident to deal with winter-specific conditions. This is likely to run in the Glen Coe area.

    All the usual Summer Nav Techniques will be refreshed, but with added spice,  plus lots of cheeky little tricks to keep life from being "too exciting"...

Guide to Client Ratio 1:6

Day 1- A later start to spend the afternoon covering basic Navigation Technique Refresher/ Route Planning with Winter Hazards/Timing & Pacing.

Evening- Night Navigation/ Walking on a Bearing/ Using Contours as "Handrails". 

Day 2- Planning your journey using weather forecasts/ Avalanche Awareness/ Micro Navigation/ Use of Altimeters and GPS

Evening- Night Navigation/ Walking on a Bearing/ Using Contours as "Handrails".
